Top 5 Things to Consider Before Choosing Your Mechanic.
Updated: Apr 3, 2019

The most difficult decision to make when owning a vehicle is choosing where to have it serviced. There are so many mechanics out there that know whether or not they can fool you especially if you know nothing about cars. We recommend checking business reviews before choosing your mechanic. Below are 5 things that should also be considered when deciding where to take your vehicle.
1. Communication
Communication is key when it comes to having your vehicle serviced. If your car is making a noise, try to pay attention to when it is happening or what you're doing (ex: turning right/left etc) when it is happening. Make sure you tell your mechanic everything it is doing even if it is something you think may not make a difference.
2. Trustworthy
The hardest part of owning a vehicle is finding a trustworthy mechanic to work on it. Try to avoid being overcharged for services you don't really need.
3. Dirty Mechanic?
Don't judge a book by its cover. Mechanics are always getting banged up and dirty when working under the hood, it's just part of the job.
4. Deals
Beware of false promises. If it sounds too good to be true then it usually is. A good example would be $100 brake jobs. No mechanic can make money on that.
5. Questions
Always always always ask questions. If they don't have time to answer your questions then you need to seek a new mechanic. A good car mechanic will explain your repairs and give you choices.
